Automatic Payment Plans
Save yourself time and money and enroll in automatic payments. With an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment plan, your insurance company will have your monthly premium deducted from your bank account. Most companies will allow you to choose which day of the month to have your premium deducted. Many companies even offer reduced installment charges when you enroll in EFT. A Recurring Credit Card (RCC) payment plan will charge your premium to your credit card on either a monthly or annual basis. A simple enrollment form is usually required. Please call or email your customer service representative if you are interested.
Make a Payment Online
Many companies now offer you the option to pay your bill online. It only takes a few minutes for the initial set up of your online account on the company's website. This will now be the place where you can pay your bills, view your payment history and policy information, and even check on the status of a claim. Several companies even have mobile apps now where you can manage your account.
Make a Payment by Phone
This option allows you to call a toll free number, check your payment balance and pay your insurance premium and many times have it posted to your account the next business day. Many companies will accept credit cards, bank cards and personal checks. You can also access your last payment received, your unpaid balance, as well as other billing information.
Mail Your Payment
Mail your check or money order with your payment stub to the company.
Make a Payment Through Your Bank
Many financial institutions and some credit card companies now offer free online bill payment options. Simply set up the payee information one time and enter how much to pay and how often. The bank then prints and mails the check for you according to your instructions. This option saves you time and money.
